arkhona have a cave sistem: in this cave/mine sistem are the resource basically tyranids conquest the caves and cut the resource form the outpost. http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/threads/q-a-questions-thread-17.4553 the new topic for the question is up
So, we get instanced matches that you need to queu for and magically appear on the battlefield? Is that confirmed? Because that's what it looks like to me and this also removes other features from the game. It will no longer be a community driven game, if you can't organize massive events in a game, what's left? a premade group that joins a 64v64 match together? No possibility of those huge orkish mobs that flood the enemy, no possibility of stealthy Eldar tactics. Always a 1:1 ratio of opponents. You just queu for an "outpost match" to unlock "stronghold match" and who knows you might not even get in that match, because you were late and the battle reached its limit of players. I hope this is not right and I'm waiting to be proven wrong.
I just can't take you seriously like this. Instances have been confirmed. How they're going to be implemented is still being kept in the dark. As much as I don't want to defend Behaviour, Nathan did bring this part up. Instanced zones will have a population cap but it won't always be a 1:1 ratio (though this might also be a bad thing... being unable to reinforce your outnumbered forces in a fight and such). How much of Behaviour's promises you should believe is also up for debate.
1. Orks have always been said to behave in group, not that they will outnumber other races in this game. An Ork player will be always as strong as a SM player in term of general power. 2. As much as I like to steamroll others with sheer force and call that a real tactic, the majority of players hate this idea. They call it zerg in PS2, and zerging is despised in PS2. So 1:1 is not a bad thing, players want balanced game, they don't want real tactic to apply in game. Even though I saw a lot of people here talking about realistic features, yet the same guy always says he hates zerg and getting outnumbered, freaking hypocrites.
I know its not for everyone but I normally enjoy being outnumbered in planetside 2. Of course there is a point where it gets stupid.
Armies in real life get outnumbered all the time, them don't complain I wonder where those realism fanatics currently are . They should be able to justify zerging in video games because it's realistic
As someone who was attacked by overwhelming numbers in an ambush attack I can assure you: we complained... a lot.
zerging is not about the number and outnumbering: zerg is about the lack of tactic coordination and organization.
Is tactics, coordination and organization always neccessary to win ? Imo zerging is also about having an unbalanced game where one side of the conflict is much more favoured by the players than the other (or\and misplaced objectives ).
