I don't get the point with having double personality in these words ?

I bought the game cause yep, I'm a fan boy of WH40K since for ever. I even bought Fire Warrior the most crapy game ever using Warhammer licence... couldn't guess how wrong I was buying it...
But it was a bet, and I'll keep beting on any Warhammer games... sometimes you get happy : all the old games, Dawn of War, WAR, Space Marines, sometimes mad with games like Fire Warrior.
It's the deal...

I didn't trust any of the promises they made, but I saw a Warhammer 40K based shooter MMO with good potential and a dev team that seemed and still seems to try to do a good work.
I knew a 1 serv for all couldn't work, really... Russians playing with Brazilians with no latency ?
I have dreams and expectations, the fan boy I am had his dreams fulfilled with their words, but the player I am knew that these words were unrealistic... so I didn' get dispointed when they finally annouced that things couldn't be the way they planed.
And I think every one should have been able to make the diff between dreams / expectations and reality...
At least, they have the honesty to recognize their mistakes and that they promised too much...
I know many dev teams that didn't work this way and lied to the player till the end and I have more rancor against them...
I'm feeling less a sheep or milky cow with EC dev team, so I keep trusting them until they show me I'm wrong trusting them.

Btw, reality doesn't necessarily means that the game won't be great...

Sorry buddy, I don't feel and don't work your way... if I had edited my post to the way you wanted, then your own post would have been irrevelant, wouldn't it ?

Edit function is to me a corrective function... and I don't get the point where posting 2 posts to answer to 2 posts is a mistake...

Its not impossible when other games have done open world. Just something this company doesnt want to spend dev time on when they can do alliance instance battles, push the product out and then cash out.

I think there will be some good news around the corner, for their Company and the game I HOPE that is the case, or the angry impulse buyers might back out which causes it's own issues (reduced funds).

From my understanding, all of the games had to sacrifice something to make it the way it is. Open World but lots and lots of servers or little server options but smaller pop cap on those servers.

I'm sure there's examples out there that have a good midway, but I don't think there's a game out there that's single server (world wide), that has low ping AND with thousands of people battling at the same time. All while keeping up to date on graphics and new age engine.

I'm confident that everything will come in due time, when that is no one has any idea. But even if it's more Heroes and Generals than it is Planetside, I'll still be happy to play this game as long as the Devs are willing to work on it. Everything else just doesn't matter.

All of this has been discussed here allready( with the exception of staves because me and others i believe thought it was something that just couldn't be missing but good ol'nathan surprised us i guess).And getting some footage of bikes is not a suprise it should have happened a long time ago!(especially since some people spent real money for those bikes)

Id be very hesitant to label people who have been following this project for 1 or 2 years as "impulse buyers" if they decide to back out of the project.

Its not really a sin to double post as long as its not the same post a second time, but at the same time normally its considered forum manners to post all your thoughts in 1 post and allow a reply before posting again.
