  2. Please understand, it's not the concept I have a problem with, it's the way they've done it. There was a great deal of humour back in the days of Specialist Games, but it was less "lol random player charades" and more mechanically based. For example Street Bowl (Blood Bowl's more violent northern back-alley cousin) was noted to have a number of effects thanks to disrupting passers by. One of which involved Miss Miggins (most likely an intentional Blackadder reference) taking ire and both sides having to convince the her she was innocent, and not set her Rottweiler upon one side's main player. That was funny, but in all honesty this personally just seems puerile by comparison.

  3. I've never heard of Street Bowl.
Now Dungeon Bowl, I actually have that!
  4. Dungeon Bowl was another great example of doing humour right, though Street Bowl (if you're interested) can be found here - http://www.gamingcorner.nl/rules/boardgames/streetbowl_uk.pdf
It was an update done back when Fanatic was still going, offering new resources and ideas for Specialist Games.

Additionally, the 'silly' special rules already seen in the warscroll releases have been done as a homage to older characters and units. These are not due to continue going forward.
  6. BoLS is resurrecting a particular rumour from earlier this year. Plastic Horus-Heresy/30K.

They're trying to re-inforce the original box-set rumour that (supposedly) contains a Praetor, Cataphractii Terminators, and a Contemptor Dreadnought.
(I thought I'd de-bunked the Praetor and Cataphractii part of that rumour!)

Plus, where they originally had the release in May, release is now rumoured to be November.
Now correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't I say months ago that if it is coming it will probably debut at Warhammer Fest before having a Pre-Christmas release?

If it's November or Christmas then it will run close to the rumored marine vs Tau campaign box.

But I'll have way more money then so I'm cool with that release time.

Possibly White Scars and Raven Guard vs. Tau?
  9. Hm, has GW ever released a kit with more than two factions?
  10. Dark Knight Dark-Knight Nickname Change

Not to my knowledge. I'm guessing if it were a choice between the Raven Guard and White Scars appearing in the box I'd have to guess it would be the Raven Guard, as they seem to be the more popular.
