I have the same opinion, but the DEV are VERY worried to show you Crusaders pre-alpha footage since they have been educated by the Industry to only talk about and show FINAL and APPROUVE asset. Now I am asking them to bring you Crusaders INTO our train of though way before we nail a design decision. I can't blame them but I trust our Fans to understand our new approach (no marketing firewall between you and dev). Regards
Release something when you feel you have something that is ready to be released. Don't rush something out because people yell at you for it, it'll the first impression that we will all get so make it good!
:-( with all my excitement of having fans at the office...... I kind of forgot to ask their contact info. If they are here in the forum please let me know who you were!! Ok, I can here you all laughing at me for forgetting to ask their contact info. I only have their names from the NDA they signed!!! If I can find them again I will ask them to speak to the community about their experience.
At the end of the day this game is your vision and we can all tell simply from the overwhelming interaction your team is having with the community that you guys care about the success of this project. You want to do it right and we all (At least I do) have faith you guys will get the job done right. We can wait a while until you guys are in a position you're happy with.
Next week for ingame AND the Producer. She is my left brain. She is in charge of making sure we launch a product, on target (quality), On Budget (VERY important) and..... ON TIME. She is the one as well managing the employees in the team. She has joined our project only a few months ago and since she is a VERY important team member I wanted to keep her secret until she has a solid hold on the Production of the game (since She recently join) which she does now.
