yes, it will probally have almost no offensive power no grenades etc but ectremely tough to kill. the games will have a lot of possible build not all usefull, player will have to figure what are the good build.
Speaking of MoN... Plague Marines are supposed to be extremely hard to kill, but they are also slow right? ....So if equipped with MoN, more HP more armor but forced to move like a devastator/havoc?
For now, the MON is pretty close to fine, an EXTREMELY small health buff maybe, but only like one extra Bolter shell or something in that area. The Shieldbro's shield durability and coverage area needs some looking at to be sure though. Other than that, lets fix the hilariously broken melee mechanics before we go much further than that. (*cough* Dbash *cough cough*) Sidenote: I think many people mistake "having to be sneaky with a MON" and "having to play as a smart, aware, tactical melee combatant". Just because you can't charge straight at your enemy doesn't mean you have to be a sneaky assassin. You can still easily move up 20m into a melee (with rolls/power attack flying). You most certainly aren't a "glass cannon" like a Raptor/JPA. Just because you have to plan your advance, use cover, and flank doesn't mean you have to be a ninja now (contrary to popular belief).
And as an Eldar/Ork, i can already see the SM fanboy on this game wanting to nerf all the cool stuff we are going to get and whine for more buff, because, you know, SM/CSM aren't biased at all
Mostly SM are biased. CSM never whined about anything SM related UNTIL SM decided to start whining about our balanced things like MoN was balanced before he became useless after the nerf. Now we have the right to rant.
