Hm... I might be mistaken, but isn't the MoN (and all the following Marks of Chaos) supposed to be available to all the other CSM classes later? So isn't it a mistake in the first place to compare the MoN only with Shieldbros and balance them accordingly? Whats with Melta wielding Tactical MoNs? Plasmacannon Havoc MoNs? Srysls I dread the day those guys drop from the sky or fry you with Beamz...
What has that to do with Plasmagun weilding MoNs? What I was saying is: "Make the MoN available for EVERY CSM class.... THEN balance it."
unfortunately, this is uneasy to do cause this requires missing accessories system. Besides, MoN bonus will differ from class to class.
Ah okay... Thank you for answering me this. I knew about the still missing accessories system, but I wasn't quit sure if the MoN was the same for all the classes or not.
I look forward to playing with accessory builds to perfect class specialties. Maybe a super life leech mon would be great.
Not sure but Chaos can get a Dark Halo which is equivalent to an Iron Halo so imagine a MoN with that RIP enemies of the Dark Gods lol http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Dark_Halo The only thing if all factions had one for one balance I dont think Chaos has Storm Shields which is fine because I bet we get some other crazy offensive stuff when accessories and all loadouts are in. Chaos Mutations and accessories we may see later/soon Shield of Force - champion is covered with raw energy of the Warp. Aura of Dark Glory - champion is protected from wordly harm by either visible or invisible forceshield. Crystalline Body - gifted one's flesh turns into diamond-like material. Bloated - champion's flesh regenerates itself healing even the most mortal wounds probably more than that defense wise that I could find.
