Power swords seem to do more damage than any other weapons from behind, except power fists. As it is right now, Im done playing against Eldar. Now is a good time to level my Eldar up since they are more broken then ever.
Warlocks were one-shotting me the last time I was able to play (two nights ago, I think). So that's not necessarily "new," but still irritating! EDIT: this was on my apo with artificer armor, btw. Seeming from all sides (back and side'ish for sure).
I've definitely noticed an increase in melee lethality in general since the last patch, which leads me to believe that there may have been some changes (intentional or not) that we don't know about just yet.
Nothing has been done to fix the power inbalance in this game. If this doesn't change you can say goodbye to 50% of the revenue generators for EC, you wont have a game to be OP in. god damned elves.
Also is it me or is the defensive bash just refusing to work now? As in I see the character initiate it while an enemy is spamming fast attacks but they still go through?
Power swords do x1.5 time damage from behind, same as every other melee weapon except for small ones like knives and knuckles. How is this related to Eldar exactly? All power weapons with damage mods from all races can one shot people from behind, if they're not an orc or vet class with stacked health/armor.
and that is a huge issue, melee has always been a mess and does way to much damage for way too little effort, removing the lock on would be a good start to fixing it, as atleast itll give a bit better chance to actually dodge the attack.
Are you blind and/or deaf? There's been a post and now a stream with Brent repeatedly saying: These are minor balance changes, the BIG one is coming next week after they process more metrics. GOOD LORD HAVE SOME PATIENCE.
Exactly this. Given that in todays stream the devs acknowledged that Eldar are performing far too well, you can guess what the balance patch going to contain: Fairy Tears
lower melee dmg accross the board, eldar need a 25% hp reduction to make up for their speed/size, give marines 50% more armour (as they are meant o have considerably better armour than orks and eldar - though to be honest this would probably not be needed with chaos due to their other fun bonus') and see how the game feels form there, as i think they would fix alot of the issues, oh and let docs and apocs heal on the dman move/ speed up the animation.
